Sunday Wedding – Something Different

Wedding on Sunday and a different role for me - I was the officiant!   Katie and Jake honored me with a request to marry them and I hope I rose to the challenge.  It was a wonderful day in a wonderful location and I was so happy to be part of their new life together.  Above is one picture I did take (I had to bring my camera and get a few shots).

To get the balance between flash and ambient correct I shot in manual mode and set my shutter speed to 1/100 sec and aperture to f/5.6 to get the dept of field.  I then metered the scene and set the ISO to 640.  Flash was set on…

Chase and Maria are Late

Some Wedding fun from last year. We made this video to show at the reception. When the couple was introduced at the start of the reception we announced they were late then showed the video.  The Couple came into the hall at the end of the video and the crowd went wild!   Maria and Chase are Late from Jalanlee on Vimeo.
